This policy covers goelectra.io and the communications Electra Network, LLC (“Electra,” “we,” “us”) sends. Electra is a venture studio for clean energy and a healthy planet. Our projects, including Farm Solar Fit, may have their own websites and privacy policies, and those policies apply on those sites.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on our site, sign up for updates, or write to us, we collect what you provide. That usually includes your name, email address, organization, role, and your message. If you meet us at an event, exchange business cards, or correspond with one of our co-founders, we may keep your contact details and the context of that conversation.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we and our service providers collect basic usage information: pages viewed, the site that referred you, browser and device type, and approximate location based on your IP address. Some of this relies on cookies and similar technologies.
How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your questions and requests
- Follow up on partnership, project, or collaboration conversations
- Send updates about Electra and our projects, if you have opted in or have an existing working relationship with us
- Understand how people use our site so we can improve it
- Meet legal and accounting obligations
How We Share Information
We don’t sell your information. We don’t give or sell your name or contact details to solar developers, installers, lead buyers, or any other third party for their own marketing.
We use a small number of service providers to run our work, and they handle information on our behalf:
- HubSpot stores form submissions and contact records and delivers our emails
- Cloudflare, our website hosting provider serves the site and keeps standard server logs
We may share information with a project partner only when you have asked us to connect you, or with your permission. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Sun Hoodie Orders
Sun hoodie purchases happen through our online store at shop.goelectra.io, which runs on Shopify. Orders, payment, and shipping information are handled under the store’s privacy policy and Shopify’s terms. We never see or store your full payment card number.
Your Choices
- Email: Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link in the footer. You can also reply and ask us to stop.
- Cookies: You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some site features may not work as expected without them.
- Access, correction, and deletion: You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@goelectra.io. We respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
We keep contact information while we have an active relationship or ongoing communication with you, and for as long as needed to meet legal or accounting requirements. We delete your information when you ask, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls on our accounts and providers with established security practices. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure.
Children
Our site and communications are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared information with us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
When we update this policy, we post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date.
